Kill Tony #153 — Jeff Danis, Brian Moses

Set: Three triplet brothers perform about being bad boys, doing drugs, and sharing one Harley motorcycle with sidecars. The set is poorly received with jokes falling flat and being compared to bad late-night comedy.

Interview: Tony and panel grill the triplets about their background, one brother's lisp, cheerleading experience, and athletic accomplishments. Eventually leads to an impromptu roast battle between the triplets and Pat Reagan.

Set: Ryan performs a brief cocaine joke about not understanding why people want faster thoughts, comparing it to giving a bully a gym membership. He finishes in 20 seconds, leaving 40 seconds unused.

Interview: Tony coaches Ryan on time management and eventually gets him to do additional material. Conversation reveals Ryan is from North Carolina, been doing stand-up six years, recently moved to LA, walks dogs for work, and has struggled with depression and erectile dysfunction.

Set: Nicole performs about growing up in Orange County with only one Black kid in her school. She tells a story about that kid making an NWA reference and embarrassing her when she guessed it stood for National Women's Association instead.

Interview: Tony, Jeff, and Brian ask about Nicole's background, comment on her being nervous, and the interview devolves into Pat Reagan kissing her and extensive discussion of the lone Black kid being prom king.

Set: Curtis performs about visiting family in Compton with cool cousin names, getting inspirational speeches from hood cousins, taking care of his great aunt while hoping she dies for her house, and seeing a Black man on a horse that confused him.

Interview: Tony and panel discuss Curtis's 1950s-inspired outfit and vintage fashion sense. Conversation covers his track achievements, his father being a track coach, bowling hobby where he writes comedy between frames, swing dancing, and recent move to LA.

Set: Stevie performs a joke about his girlfriend's inability to identify his white 5'3" friend, describing him as 'dark' and 6 feet tall. The set receives almost no laughs and falls entirely flat.

Interview: Tony expresses disappointment with the set, noting it got almost no laughs and comparing it unfavorably to Stevie's previous appearances. Jeff Danis roasts Stevie's Netflix special as being bad, and Tony ultimately allows Stevie to leave rather than continue.

Set: Guido performs jokes about his sister's ex messaging him about STD, replying he stopped dating her, jokes about pushing his girlfriend down stairs thinking she said Slinky not kinky, and a funeral joke about a baby crying louder than anyone despite only knowing deceased for 48 weeks.

Interview: Tony praises Guido's comedy style and rapid success. Panel discovers Guido just moved to LA last night, is from Michigan, drives Uber, and has full name Guido Antonio Crow Salterelli. His mother is not Italian but wanted Crow as middle name, and his father is a contractor.

Set: Melissa performs new material about attending AA hung over and missing the meeting, growing up Jewish in Germany, hiding in bar bathroom at age 14 when cops arrived, and comparing the experience to Anne Frank's hiding.

Interview: Tony provides coaching on hand positioning with the microphone. Panel discusses Melissa's German/Jewish background, makes Nazi jokes, and she reveals her parents were bird watchers. Pat Reagan and Melissa have awkward chemistry discussion.

Set: Vanessa performs new material about taking a vampire quiz online that convinced her she's a vampire. She describes the quiz questions and has been laying out black eyeliner samples to catch Emos, as vampires apparently eat Emos.

Interview: Panel discusses the vampire website genuinely existing and the believability of the Emo-catching bit. Vanessa reveals she found the vampire test site while researching fang placement, and the site legitimately has people believing they're real vampires.
